Enjoy good food, wine and romance? Then you’ll love reading THAT’S AMORE, the latest installment in Wendy Markham’s Chickalini Series, where Ralphie and Daria have something more in common then a love for pizza. You see, a spirit on the Other Side is playing matchmaker and won’t let these two get away from each other!
Reminiscent of the plot, the grand prize in Wendy’s July contest is a signed copy of THAT’S AMORE; a basket filled the makings of an Italian feast: pasta, olive oil, biscotti and other goodies, plus a CD of romantic Italian dinner music. Two runner-up winners will each receive a signed copy of one of Wendy’s earlier books. The drawing will take place July 31.

It is beautiful here in WNY at this time as you probably know. Forsythia, lilac, magnolia, tulips, redbud trees, Kwanzan cherry trees in bloom and many other flowering trees too. The weather has been unusually warm for this time of the year, so, for a change, it has been a beautiful spring.
I was wondering if you were battling cancer. I just had my two year anniversary on May 8th. Two years ago on that date, I had a right breast mastectomy followed by 5 months of chemo. I'm on Femara right now for maintainence and so far, all of my chechups have been great. My hair came back in as black and grey (I'm a redhead) and I couldn't stand it so I finally dyed it a mahogany color and it feels soooooooo good! Thanks for writing and thanks for the coffee.
