Here we are just off Route 66 in Oklahoma, another leg of the 50-State Book Tour. We have been to Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Missouri. Check out the car...a 1964 cherry red chevy convertible hand built by our pal Bob Brown.

Some highlights: Houston Astros and Texas Rangers games, Dealy Plaza, the Oklahoma City memorial, the stockyards, the Laura Ingalls Wilder museum at Rocky Ridge in Mansfield. I'll update again soon...internet coverage is sketchy at best!

Wendy,
I enjoy reading your books. I want to tell you that you really brought back memories with your photo of the 1964 red convertible on route 66. When I was 19- 21 years old, I had a convertible like that one. That car was very special to me, as I met my husband then at a drive-in like A&W. We were together 36 years before his death. What a great reminder.

What an awesome picture! Glad you and the guys are having fun on the road. I'm a JFK assassination fanatic and have always wanted to visit Dealy Plaza--we're hoping to go for the 50th anniversary in 2013.

Hi Wendy! Bill Pijuan and I work together and he gave me "Live To Tell" that you autographed for me. Thank you so much! He suggested I sign up on your website and I look forward to start reading your book and following your community. Next time you…
